Classic home Purveyors, The Mudras: Mitch, affectionately known as the ‘Regiment’ at RFP, & Lukas, an artist at heart with a love of fashion and style. Together these two became period-home powerhouses. They are clients we will cherish for a lifetime: this edition is only the preface as Lukas and Mitch said au revoir to the most stoic Spaniard we have ever represented at RFP.

2020 is the year of the move-up, as the lockdown placed pressure on our dwellings to do more. The consideration of swapping your classic begins with a strong mix of emotions; departing a structure that you love like a family member doesn’t happen overnight. The path of the Mudras is exemplary and rooted on evaluating the financials first. These two made the call after evaluating the ballparks on additions to their beloved thoroughbred Mediterranean: the numbers made it clear that the process of letting go should begin.

Mackey was absolute jewel, and it turned the Mudras from everyday homeowners into classic home purists. Following our lead from condo life, the trust was placed early in 2015 to guide towards historic architecture, the stewardly care provided to Mackey during their five years entrenched their path in owning architectural classics for a lifetime.

Little Sebastian is going to be a big brother someday, so added space was needed beyond the additional pressures of running executive in training opps from their home offices. 1940 is a sprawler, a ranch-style foundation all south facing, with a huge fenced lot that houses an unkept pool and pool house. The house has terrific stock and hardwoods throughout, they have already completed hardwood and enamel restoration on the main floor and are presently meeting with designers and architects to plan their first phase of renovation before pool season opens!

Cheers to the Mudras on landing another period classic & stay tuned for updates 2021!
