Hale's Brick Beauty
Hans and Nancy spent 20 years in this beautiful brick Tudor. Nancy is the music director at Washburn and Hans spent his career as a pastor. They raised 3 kids and developed a fantastic community in Minneapolis. They also used this time to meticulously update and restore their home. The result is a fabulous modernized 1930's restoration.
Original brick fireplace, stunning woodwork, and beautifully refinished hardwood floors.
The Lee's spent weeks preparing their home for new owners with modernized paint colors, art installation, and gleaming woodwork.
Hans and Nancy's kitchen is a testament to their commitment to the era of their home. Original cabinets remained with the addition of stainless steel appliances, new counters and a beautiful backsplash.
Two large bedrooms on the main floor are separated by an original art deco bath. Great space for a growing family.
The front room is perfect for many uses. For years, their family used it for coat and jacket storage, but in recent months, the Lee's transformed it into a bright, white music space.
Classic 1930's telephone stand.
In 2011, Hans embarked on an attic renovation. Converting a once bleak space into a stunningly large master suite. Including a large bathroom, sitting area, bedroom, and even an office with built-ins outside.
The rear yard has a paver patio and large yard with plenty of perennial growth. Unlike other homes in the area with eyesore garages, this garage is all brick - rounding out this beautifully appointed home.
We look forward to seeing Hale go through major transition over the coming years - passing the baton from maturing families to new and budding couples. This area will be a hot spot for our new buyers!
