The 1912 "Laughing Lady of Lyndale"

After spending 5 years out east in DC, Kyle (Forest Lake native) and Molly (Waukesha Wisconsin), the bustling DC couple, decided it was time to head back to Minneapolis, and the amazing network of sound friends they have throughout Minnesota.

Fresh from his north shore family getaway, Kyle & Molly purchased the famed Dan & Sarah Murphy craftsman without seeing it from their studio condo in DC.     Very rarely does this occur, when a buyer has the poise and savvy to pull the trigger from afar.   Upon presenting the offer we realized we were minutes late, only to find out one week later, the first party had some cold feet, and what is meant to be, will be.

This storied craftsman is one of the finest in South Minneapolis.   Constructed entirely of brick and solid steel I-beams.   The home boasts amazing 11' ceilings throughout the main floor.  Present owner and Soul Asylum lead guitarist, Dan Murphy made some incredible updates to the home in his 15 year tenure.

Push button light switches, original art deco sconces and fixtures fill the home, this is one of the best original examples of a home in all of Tangletown and East Harriet.

Molly & Kyle could not be more thrilled to join the neighborhood, we are ecstatic to have secured them one of the most storied bungalows around.   We are all looking forward to their house warming celebration in late September.
