Purple Rain Foursquare of 1924.

PURPLE RAIN OF 1924: the culmination of craftsmanship, trusting the process, freedom of design and aesthetic direction.

An affordable, yet well-sorted period classic, stats are as follows:

1 block north of Minnehaha Creek. A Bristol offering finely tuned by the Purveyors of Classic Homes.

This is another Purveyors move up story, and the victor of this deed with sign off on a stem to stern revival that was completed by our craft trades and the steady navigational guidance of Design in Rare Form. The colors inside Purple Rain are bold, like Prince’s stage presence in 1986.

Purple Rain offers highlighted originality throughout: Douglas Fir porches front (east) and rear (west), restored oak & maple hardwoods.

She lives large inside and out: integration with nature is robust in this foursquare.

Original Shakers restored in mauve enamel, curated with modern drawer banks, and new appliances // full ceramic tile over craft sealed butcher tops.

The surviving originality of Purple Rain is priceless on many levels.

The purple shakers were the result of expressing the home owner’s love of music in a subtle way. Prince’s Purple Rain shook the world in 86, now these shakers are following suit.

Vintage Kohler pedestal, updated shower kit, subway bricked and enameled trim over creek side inspired wallpaper.

Restored birch vanity and craft-correct sconces to finish.

Conceptually we were inspired by the creek-side location. We incorporated a paper that playfully highlighted the natural wildlife along Minnehaha Creek.

Upper level trim restored throughout in design in Rare Form palette.

High-e clad windows throughout, updated hvac & central ac, basement sound studio, cedar lined privacy fence, irrigation & landscape lighting.
