the King-coal creekshore Mediterranean of 1931

the king coal family hand selected the build site south of Minnehaha creek in 1930, commissioning local trades built their family Spanish Mediterranean in 1931 perched on a high ground lot along the south-shore of Tangletown’s Minnehaha creek watershed.

In her 93rd year, we’re embarking on a celebrated scope of work to bronze this modern-classic in Mpls’ historical surviving architectural landscape.

A scope of work that was distilled from our intimate love for 117, with the aim of ensuring King-coal has a firm place in the future of Tangletown, in a city without historical protection initiatives, our passion for this era is seen through in the incoming addition & main floor improvement that will be completed for her next stewards.

three owners in a row have planned to complete the scope that were beginning this week at Purveyors Improvement Co.
